The Secret Life of Pets (2016) - Movie Plot and Trailer

The Secret Life of Pets Plot:

Do you have pets? Dogs, cats, maybe birds? Have you ever wonder about what your pets do when you leave them home alone? From the director of Minions and Despicable Me 2, The Secret Life of Pets will bring you to the adventurous journey of the pets.

Max (Louis C.K.) is a Terrier dog lives in an apartment in Manhattan. Katie (Ellie Kemper) is Max's owner who always loves to play with him. Max also tries his best keep the apartment tidy. Max is not the only one who lives in the apartment, there are Mel (Bobby Moynihan) a pug dog, Chloe (Lake Bell) the obese cat, Gidget (Jenny Slate) a white Pomerian, among others. They have their own habit when there's no owner around. Take Chloe, for example, she often steals meals or leftovers from the refrigerator or Buddy (Hannibal Buress) who loves getting massages by a mixer.

While most pets doing all the juicy things, Max is quite different, he always waits for Katie in front of the door. Till one day, Katie gets home and brings a surprise for Max. It is a new dog named Duke (Eric Stonestreet), he is a Newfoundland dog. Duke is adopted from a dog shelter and soon becomes a part of the family. Despite his cuteness, Duke hates Max. He would love to steal foods and taking over his bed. Max can no longer stand it and start a revenge on him.

Duke who wants to get rid of Max, drags him out to the passageway in where the wild cats reside. Max and Duke are terrified and suddenly fled out, but they get caught by a man from the shelter as they dont wear a necklace. Out of the blue, a cute rabbit rescue them and bring them to its swamp. Max and Duke eventually know that they are going to become slaves for the white rabbit, Snowball (Kevin Hart). They have to figure out a way to fight against Snowball, who has the intention to ruin every living pets.


On the other hand, all friends of  Max are trying to track them with a help from Tiberius(Albert Brooks), an eagle and an old basset hound, Pop (Dana Carvey).
